I don't hate the Mach-E... well, maybe I do hate the interior . It's not a bad vehicle but it should not have been called a Mustang. Maybe I am not as clever as anyone in the auto industry, but could anyone here speculate how many different types of vehicles can be extracted from...
I've learned over the years that no one cares about your car more than you do.
Years ago I had a brand new Grand Am and offered to drive a co-worker someplace. We were young and around the same age, but I had a professional job and he was a general laborer. I don't remember where I was taking...
Whenever I see what looks like a nice sports car on a used lot, I think "What must have happened for someone to give up on it?" I see evidence of so many bad drivers abusing their cars daily from scraping the underbody by taking an incline too fast, to hopping high curbs not meant to be hopped...
I have been looking for an OBD reader and can't decide between a dedicated handheld device or a Bluetooth dongle.
What is considered a fair cost for one of these? Being in Canada, I have seen the handheld readers range from $60 to over $300, and the Bluetooth dongles range from $80 to $180...
Many people say they want or need 4-doors but hardly ever do I see any passengers in the rear seats, not even kids.
I dislike 4-door vehicles because the door openings are smaller and the B-pillar is too forward and obstructs the view over my shoulder.
There are also more pieces to break such...
I admire the LCD gauge cluster and I really like that it can be configured to two big round circular dials with sweeping needles. At the same time I prefer the 3-D elements, depth, and lighting of the analog dial gauges which you lose with the LCD.
I don't mind the LCD gauge cluster on its own...
Also the GT and Mach 1 are going FWD! Check out pages 4, 9, 14, 17, 21, under heading "Entities (Series, Drive, Engine, Transmission)". That's a big change! Huge! Why wasn't it announced?:wink:
I have to agree. At first reveal I thought the Mach E styling was not bad, but the more videos I see of it in real-world driving scenes, the more clumsy it looks to me. Such a turn-off.
Now that the new Ontario plates are out, is anyone else angered by the government deciding to not eliminate the front plates after all? The reason given was to facilitate law enforcement.
Yeah, right. Like the criminals are going to display their front license plates nicely for everyone to...
I just thought of the possibility that the reason they decided to cancel emissions testing is because the government is planning to ban gasoline engines altogether so eventually there will be no need for emissions testing.
A Mustang, or a Camaro, or a Challenger, are in my opinion the best configuration for personal transportation defined by: two doors, front engine, rear-wheel drive, with a touch of rebellion and most importantly sex appeal!
The Mach E is none of that and certainly not rebellious nor sexy, no...
Something about the way it was filmed made it so suspenseful, the way the chaser became the chasee. The cars were both badass. It also felt real and believable, like you could be in it. No other chase scene is as memorable to me, at least not that I can think of right away. I believe it...
Nah, the foreign options are also a farce, what with their anemic engines and CVT transmissions. In fact, CVTs have such a bad reputation that a new marketing term has been created to refer to them now as IVTs as in "Intelligently Variable Transmissions".
This is absurd. I cannot imagine a Mustang lineup of various types of vehicles. They already have a coupe and a CUV. What more could they possibly add? A Mustang econobox? A Mustang minivan? A Mustang pick-up truck? A Mustang 4x4 off-road vehicle? At what point does the Mustang name no...
Maybe it's not too late for them to change it given the negative feedback. Aside from the pony emblems I don't recall any badges or script specifically saying Mustang on what has been shown of the Mach E.
That's true. The name Mach E might even have been ideal for an all-electric Mustang coupe but they wasted it on the SUV. Do they even plan on making an all-electric Mustang coupe?
I read about a rumor that a new generation "Mustang" was being developed based on the Explorer platform. I thought it seemed ominous but it makes sense now. Does Ford have any business incentive to develop a car platform just for the Mustang coupe? A better plan would be to develop a platform...
