Finally Starting to See S550s...

I'm in Austin, Texas and was in a Whataburger drive-through grabbing lunch, and was behind a nice black GT-PP. I wasn't in my Mustang so no effort to rev or nod or anything.

I've only started to see S550s in the last month or so. I just got my car in November, but I'd been looking for them on the roads for about year, and they were proving to be elusive. It's nice to start seeing them.

You know it's a good looking car when every different colored one you see you think: "man I really like it in ______!" (Black, Yellow, Orange, Red, White, etc.)

I'm in 30's temperature and live in bum-F no where and I see at least 6 or more every day.

Happens to many people. You never notice a car on the road until you own one.

I’ve just recently started noticing that more are popping up. I remember getting my car in May and it would be rare to even see 2 a week, now I may see 2-3 a day.

I kind of liked having a car that not much people had but I knew that wouldn’t last long. Either way, the s550’s aggressive looks look great on the roads whether there is 1 of them or 12 of them.

Hrm, I live in Austin and see at least 2-3 per day for the last 6 months or so. I had one of the first in the area and it was just me for the first 3-4 months it seemed.

This is true, but I've been watching for them for a year, and very rarely saw one. I think it is more the fact that 100,000 of them give or take have been added to the roadways in the last year or so. :ford:

Seems that way here, too, on a normal day.

The GTs all come out for our meets and cruises, though

When I'm in my GT, I never see them. When I'm in my Nissan V6 truck they come roaring by.

I'm in the area North of Dallas and I've been seeing them everywhere since last spring/summer. And it seems like most that I see are Magnetic Metallic in color. And a fair number have PP as well. Though I do see a fair number of red and silver as well. Not as many Ruby's, blacks, or DIB though. If I had to do it again, it'd probably go DIB or Ruby.

Don't see too many GT's in my area but I've seen a good amount of V6/EB s550's. Many of the GT's around here are modded up though. Only seen 1 Ruby Red and maybe a couple other DIB besides me.
