So I've been thinking lately about how to quiet down my car after I go catless. I currently have a MBRP Street cat-back, and I've heard it catless. That is just way too loud for me, I found this Dual 3" in/out muffler that looks like it could replace the H pipe. Muffler is stainless, and has a internal X. Should calm the car down a little in combination with the MBRP mufflers.

Thoughts? Other suggestions?

I would add one of these to each side right behind the h-pipe. Hope this Helps or it gives you an idea or push in the right direction

or

or you can add 2 of flowmasters hushpower II mufflers. Which you can find here

I went with race cats, but also added a pair of 3" Vibrant resonators. Sound is amazing, and the volume falls slightly louder than a cat-back unless I'm WOT. Then, she screams like a banshee.

They completely killed rasp/tinny sound levels, most of the drone from the mag comp AB, and with all 3" connections, it flows very well.

Mine are 13" total lenghth. Longer ones would be even better, but these do the job well.

I have the race and the drone can be nerve-racking at times...will soon order the SP LTHs from Beefcake. I'm going to have the Dynomax Race Bullets installed after the headers have been installed.

That's what I hear, the plan is to see what it (drone) is like after installing the LTH. May or may not go with the Dynomax depending on the sound/drone.
Thanks for the input..

these should do just fine, ive used them a few times in addition to turbo mufflers to meet strict sound requirements at laguna seca, and they are dirt cheap

and this is another inexpensive option. I may throw this on my 16 for shits and giggles

Only issue with that magnaflow muffler is it has an internal Y, not X. So I feel it will restrict my exhaust.

Im even considering swapping out my rear mufflers for 3" turbo mufflers.

The issue I have with race cats is that I plan to run a lope tube, and cams in the future. Can't run cats with those.

Race cats will handle it, but unless you have a raspy exhaust it's not very dramatic.
