Mine was the same, gave it a push and it's now snug as a bug.

Same issue here as well. Went ahead and seated it fully and added a small zip tie for a little extra insurance. Thanks OP!

Same issue here. Mine is a '16 that was built in mid/late '15. Less than 10k miles. Never been tracked. There was a very small amount of gunk built up around it. No obvious evidence of leaking enough to drip down. I made a note to myself to check it every oil change.

So I played with mine again and could push it on further but the design allows it to slide away from the resivior a little leaving some gap.

My concern is the lower connection. I attempted to seat that and had a little fluid leakage (not enough to drip though). Anyone have photos of that connection?

Isn't there a stainless steel braided hose available to replace that POS factory design??

Not that I'm aware of. The line you're probably thinking of is the actual clutch line that feeds to the transmission.

Yep, same here. A slight push, felt it "go over the hump" and seat.
No leaks were noted but there is no doubt it was not fully seated.
Thanks OP!

Same as OP on mine. Just had to push it forward about half an inch.. checked with papertowel and it had some fluid on it as well. Will keep an eye on it for sure.

Just pushed mine up, as it was like the first picture. No leaking though

checked mine and mine needed to be pushed back on too. pushing it without holding the reservoir it didnt move. holding reservoir in place then pushing it on and it went on all the way. lately it felt as if i was struggling to shift as well as i normally do. trying to figure out if i just suck lately or this was causing it.

does anyone actually know if this would cause any issue or symptoms during driving?
