If you’re into a Mach 1, then just go to cargurus or similar sites, open up the search criteria to nationwide and filter it only on the Mach 1. You will find them for far less… I mean why lay $65k when there too many listed for much less… Screw that dealer - $65k for a used Mach 1? Search…...

Also to note: You must must must read ANY fine print OR the entire Warranty provisions offered on ANY forced induction kit. Even if installed by a Ford Dealer or a Ford Performance Dealer or if it’s a “Ford Performance” kit - the warranty starts from the vehicle’s invoiced date - it doesn’t...

^^^^ Agree with this 100%. Here’s some threads that contain factual OPG info, take time to read them, because not all OPGs are the same and yes there have been reported failures with some aftermarket OPG’s too. Just because there is an aftermarket OPG, doesn’t mean it’s better...

That (to me) just looks like deformities caused when it was removed from the mold… or there was debris in the mold that imprinted the rubber. I wouldn’t be concerned with it. If you really wanted to and it bothers you, replace the seal.

Sounds like he wants the DRL’s off so he can get some (insert imagination here) time with his GF … in a parking lot …. So if that is the case and they want to be all cloak and dagger - don’t turn the car on, nothing will be illuminated and solves any DRL’s being on…. If they need mood music...

To answer your question: If adding forced induction, do the OPG at the same time. You’re already investing time/money for the forced induction upgrade and will have things apart, so don’t skimp out… OPG isn’t the only gear to be concerned with, specially if being boosted… look for threads on...

Nope. You don’t know the history of the tune or how the car was used… There’s quite a few prior threads of people buying used S550’s with preloaded tunes where: - they don’t have the tuning device or know anything about the tune type - they do not know “who” tuned it and what tune was loaded...

If you’re taking the risk, always have the cash set aside to cover the “when”, because it’s not “if” it’s “when” something goes south… Also with any major warranty work (such as engine failures), Ford is aware of tunes and how to check if they existed or not - as well as other tell tale signs...
