I wonder how those rotors would hold up with daily driving?

Aerospace said they would handle pretty much anything normal and "spirited" driving would throw at them. It was fairly clear they are not meant for open track/HDPE/SCCA racing but certainly can handle a few blasts around a track.

What they told me in their email..

They handle pretty much anything you can throw at them. The kit is a 13" 4 piston brake kit so they will perform outstanding for up to medium duty open track and "spirited driving". For heavy duty open track, road race you can move to a heavier duty 13" rotor (nascar rotor) with our GT 4 piston caliper.

Can you post a link for these?
You will want to call them with any questions that you have.

It does not look like they have a link up yet. I think they were not expecting so many calls about them, this early. I have the first kit they made for the 15's...and I honestly havent even really been able to test them thoroughly. I have used their kits on other vehicles with great success though!

Something to consider for you types who are looking for quick and easy low hanging fruit who do not mind tossing the (near) useless rear seats in favor of a rear seat delete..

By removing the rear seats, trunk pad, inflator, engine cover, putting on a cat-back (FRPP, MF or Borla for example) ..that's 76.4lbs right there. By running with a 1/4 tank of fuel your previously 3,730lb GTPP now becomes a 3,580lb GT PP :)

I want to know how much the average headers save, as I will also be putting headers on.

I propose we make this thread sticky. It's relevant the more people contribute and the more data that becomes available.

OEM Rear IRS Subframe (Empty): 55lbs

OEM EPAS Rack: 36.46lbs

what does it mean by (Empty) for the Rear IRS Subframe?? and can it be removed without hindering the vehicle? Also what is the EPAS rack? Also does anyone know if the K-members can be removed without affecting the vehicle? i only want to know because im running the 1/4 mile stock and im just trying to reduce weight.. everything will go back on and in the car once im done with the 1/4 mile that day.

The rear IRS subframe empty means no diffy.

Yes Sticky, and clean up all the posts that don't actually contribute (like this one) so it is not 1000 pages long
