Anyone with a spare tire care to weigh theirs?

FYI the spare tire in my 2012 GT weighed about 35 lbs. Jack was another 4 lbs.

The inflation pump with foam in the 2015 is about 5 lbs.

The resonator itself weighs 17.4 according to my bathroom scale. That's resonator only and about 3-4 inches of pipe on either side, no extra pipe towards the cats or rear axle.

Something to consider for you types who are looking for quick and easy low hanging fruit who do not mind tossing the (near) useless rear seats in favor of a rear seat delete..

By removing the rear seats, trunk pad, inflator, engine cover, putting on a cat-back (FRPP, MF or Borla for example) ..that's 76.4lbs right there. By running with a 1/4 tank of fuel your previously 3,730lb GTPP now becomes a 3,580lb GT PP

hm a gallon of gasoline weighs 6.2 pounds and if we hold 15.5 gallons that means a full tank weighs 96.1 pounds. if you ran at 1/4 tank of gas you would be down 72.075 pounds. we should probably list that in the weight reduction list even though its not a mod, just so people know how much weight they are down when they are at that point in gas. kinda like a keep in the back of the mind kinda thing.
