Custom strut tower brace! Boss 302 brace clears the engine but not the hood. Had to remake the center section to get it lower.

(Note: Not final welds/painted)

Does this one clear the hood?

Your better off having more clearance between the strut and engine than the strut and hood. The engine can move under heavy acceleration.

One other question, does the S197 hoods flutter at high speeds like the 550 hoods do? If it does maybe put some small rubber bumpers on the strut to just touch the hood to support it from underneath.

I don't have stock mounts so the engine does not move much at all. The clearance should be more than adequate.

And it actually does not. The hood on the S197s are pretty solid.

Did you get the fuel hat and pump? I have one out of my '18 sitting in a box. It had 47K miles on it and was working fine when removed. I too am in MD and would let you have it if you want it.

Hey Zack, just saw this over on ford racing website

https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-6250-SD73A

You can get a bigger better cam for less money by going aftermarket, but if you want the same cam as the megazilla, this is it.

Part of the reason it is so pricey is it comes with a lockout cam gear a new TTY cam gear bolt.

One of the few things I dislike about the godzilla is you have to pull the heads to change lifters, but if your cam and lifters are low mileage, you can change out the cam and reuse the lifters without removing them. The godzilla has lifter buckets like the LS, you just spin the cam over a couple of times and the buckets will hold them up away from the cam so you can pull it out.

But... if you've got a bad lifter, you're pulling the heads.

Working on completing the dash trim. 3D printed dash caps covered in vinyl to start. The top of the dash is going to be the challenging part...

The top could be pieced together with 3D printed parts, that are glued together, you could even make the pieces with form-fitting joints (dovetail etc.).

Ok putting this out there... Does anyone here happen to have a 2023+ F250 7.3 (needs to be 2023 and up) and an HPT device? I am looking for the stock tune from a 2023 7.3. 2023 and up models use the bullitt throttle body.

I am in the process of rebuilding the tune to run the 7.3 as a 7.3 instead of tricking the PCM into thinking it's a coyote. This will be important later when I attempt to get VCT working.
