Just called back a dealer in Austin. $10K ADM. They were the ones at $40K a few months ago.FWIW find out what they 'want' for it now...
Tony from Riata Ford in Austin, Texas? It's an AG Tech Pack car.I just got a call from a dealer wanting to sell his AG Tech Pack car. $10k ADM, which he said they just raised and he thought was low.
Fixed your post [emoji1]Austin is the California of Texas; everybody is a left wing tree hugging hipster.
I can see this, Nataphen brings up a good point about the volume of adding the magneride and coolers to every car. Mechanically they will all be identical with just some changes in the interior, which will bring down some material and labor costs. 55k is a nice even number. My guesstimate is the MY2017 base starts at $52,795... + $900 dest charge... + $1300 GGTax = $54,995
They don't let you do anything extra. Just a little quicker than going through the menus. Exhaust mode, launch control, and 2 others (I don't remember what they are). It comes on the Tech Pack cars with Sync 3. I don't care about Sync, but the toggle switches just look cool. Not worth giving up my 2016 order though.I'm not too familiar with the toggle switches. How does this differ from selecting the mode on the steering wheel?
I also noticed that was missing as a sub-bullet item but this early leak/news is too early to confirm I guess. They may or may not include them for MY17... we'll see sooner or later.2016 Track Package also included "Performance front springs". There is no mention of the springs on the 2017 GT350, just dampners, coolers, and aluminum brace. Being stiffer springs, Ford may not want them on every 2017 GT350, which could cause complaints from those who prefer softer ride.
A '17 base is a '16 track pack. So you're saying Ford is going to sell the same car next year for $3,000 cheaper? It doesn't make any sense Ford would do this, especially since demand exceeds supply for this car. There is also typical price bumps from year to year in models where there are no changes from one model year to the next. I can't see Ford selling what is in essence a current track pack car $3000 cheaper next year....just makes no sense? We shall see.
As the owner of a base 2016 I'm okay with what I have. I'm actually glad Ford offered a entry level model, as the $50k price was my ceiling. I would now be priced out of the market. This is all under the logic that Ford is essentially dropping the base and replacing it with what was the track pack which makes the starting price approximately $6500 more.
Because without the base there is nothing else. Also Ford never listed any different springs for the base vs track/tech... so who knows if the 2016 base has anything different.2016 Track Package also included "Performance front springs". There is no mention of the springs on the 2017 GT350, just dampners, coolers, and aluminum brace. Being stiffer springs, Ford may not want them on every 2017 GT350, which could cause complaints from those who prefer softer ride.
There's high demand for sure. Look at the Porsche GT3 and GT4 cars... dealers are asking huge ADM's and with that... some dealers still have them in stock inventory although they do sell out faster even with ADMs. If all of these high demand cars were priced at sticker at dealerships, they'd all be sold out in no time. Everyone one in this forum who's ready to buy... will have one already. I'd have an R many months ago. ;)I'm not sure demand really exceeds supply. 3 local dealers have one. All want adm and have had the cars for months.
