No worries, me neither. Just came back from the notification haha.
And that's good to hear. I still haven't taken mine in to get that checked yet. I've just been doing the throttle blip on shutdown and it's been fine. Honestly forgot about the rattle because I haven't heard it in so long.
I...
I also lost my 5th gear synchro at about 20k miles. I tracked my car a decent amount though. Got the whole transmission, clutch, flywheel, driveshaft replaced under warranty a couple years ago.
Most of the time OEM RWD cars come staggered because it's just plain safer for the general public. Makes the car more understeer prone vs oversteer prone. Less grip up front, front tires give out at the limit before the rears.
Go with a square setup on these cars and you can immediately feel...
Nope. When the synchro blew it destroyed the transmission so they did a full replacement. When they looked at it they saw my clutch was ruined so they had to get a new clutch and flywheel too. Then the driveshaft boot was torn because when the trans went out, it was bucking and jerking like...
I would put the stock back in just to be safe. I had my 5th gear synchro go out and fucked up my whole transmission. I was stock at the time but got a whole new trans, clutch, flywheel, driveshaft, and had my rear diff rebuilt. Took like 3 months because it was at the height of COVID related...
Not gonna lie, change 2019 to 2016 and replace Jack with Jessie and it's pretty damn close to exactly how I felt when I bought my car 7 years ago to this day. Ordered it, been dreaming about it ever since that blue one was unveiled at the auto show in 2014/2015, giggled like a school girl while...
Nothing that I know of. I like the BT version because when I go out on track, I can connect it and log my throttle position/rpm/and other telemetry to output into a CSV file. That wouldn't be possible with the cable version since it would be just a little dangerous with wires flailing about.
I'm guessing USB should work with a Surface Pro because I use the Bluetooth adapter and Forscan with my Surface Pro just fine. Can't imagine a scenario where it would work with BT but not USB.
You can use this as a guide and figure a way to use the toggle switch instead of installing separate one.

I have a 2016 track pack so I never had a toggle switch for exhaust.
Just rediscovered this thread and thought I could add a few pictures from when I followed @drummerboy steps.
Fuse tap installed:
Remote taken apart and wires soldered:
Wrapped up and taped under the center console:
Final location of the switch:
Just to save you and anyone else the trouble, if you DO decide to go with the AWE route, here's the thread by @drummerboy that I followed to hardwire mine.

So it looks like the GT350 is officially supported on their site. As for the battery issue, I ended up hardwiring it and installing a switch so now that's not an issue either. Someone here had a writeup about how to hardwire it by taking apart 1 of the 2 remotes you get. I followed that and it's...
You could also go the opposite way and spend a little more money and do what I did:

EDIT: Holy shit nevermind, they got way too expensive. They were under $200 when I bought mine...
It's not too bad. I've done it a few times with FP lowering springs, R splitter, and 30 series tires. Just gotta be careful. Worst part for me was going over one of the hills and middle of my car scraped as I was going over the crest. Scraped up my jacking rails!
I've done that drive a few times in the Shelby and it's great. Unfortunately, I'm working all day so I can't join but I'm in Livermore so if you guys are ever down for a drive again sometime, I'm down!
Might also want to check this TSB out. I had that exact same thing happen to mine when I had surging and hesitation issues. Once the output shaft flange nut was replaced and tightened, the surging, hesitation, and the slight 1 second rev when pressing the clutch all stopped and I never had that...
Yup, it's 100% normal. You can get it to do it on demand if you rev it out in gear, then left off the throttle and just barley give it a bit of gas as it's engine braking. It'll sound like a machine gun
Joke's on you. I'll be getting the following and changing up the color scheme to really rake in the $$$
