Just finished the update too and I see the crank relearn feature in the menu. Quick 5 minute update. The only thing that bothers me from these updates is that Lund doesn't explain what the updates do or fix. They only mention it fixes critical issues and bugs. Whatever it is it, it seems to be working fine. Any one know what is the process to do a crank relearn or why it is necessary? Thanks!

I had to do a crank relearn a month or so ago and Lund sent me the new firmware, worked great.

I had a CEL after flashing a new tune and the crank relearn fixed it

Sorry if this is a lame question lol but would doing a crank-relearn possibly fix slight misfire?

If u changed something like clutch, dampner, crank sensor or sometimes tune yes it will.I had a flashing cel with a misfire after a clutch install, crank relearn took care of it.

If you have a CEL with it, there is a good chance it will. Worth a shot. Usually the code is "Crank Position Not Learned" that comes up.

If you dont have a CEL I would guess probably not, but it's worth a shot!

The BAMA SCT X4 does crank position sensor re-learns.

Also, anyone that has what they think is a misfire, and CELs with misfire codes, and needs to do re-learns, might have a cracked intake manifold.

For a couple of months I had all of the above, and it turned out my intake manifold was cracked, causing all of it.

Does performing a crank relearn clear the KAM? Also, does flashing a new tune clear KAM? Or is this unrelated?
