Yes definitely not there. With the trunk open I can get down and put my face against the bumper and look completely underneath (can see daylight all the way across) and it is just a flat surface under there. Unlike the other side where they are painfully obvious. And yes, like you, my driver...
Pretty pathetic solution you have to admit. Why not add a nice solid piece of rubber padding under the light housing that is seemless and not visible ? Pathetic by Ford imo. Just saying.
Honestly I can't get over how......bad....or how much of an afterthought this is to be found on a mass production vehicle. Even for Ford. Felt pads from home depot? Really? THAT was their solution to whatever they were trying to correct ? I have to believe it was meant to be removed at some...
Mine definitely didn't have them on the driver side. That's partly why I had to remove them on the passenger side. I couldn't take the lack of consistency and it was just such an odd find.the reason people are saying they expand is cause if you wash your car and they get wet they absorb water...
Just pryed mine out with a plastic fork. Was wondering wtf this was as I only had them on one side. They actually caused a big ass gap on that side. Looks like it closed up at least a bit since I removed them. Weird.
NOPE..not going to waste my time. Out of 120 pages nobody has gotten this fixed. Seems it is deemed "normal" by dealerships at this point. The noise diminishes to acceptable levels when the car warms up fully.
Based off the 1st post, it is the same noise:
"2018 Mustang GT, about 4,300 miles and I've been hearing this noise since day 1. It only happens when I'm in gear which leads me to believe that it's something on the drive line. 1st is the worst, but I can hear it all through 5th. I hear it right...

Different title but same noise that has been posted in this thread. I have it as well. brand new 2019. It is more commonly referred to as the "2k rpm rattle"
This may ease some of our minds. This is a statement from Ford on the GT350 engine. Sounds like an exact description of what is happening on our cars, and they deem it to be normal.

I'll probably just ignore it. Seems like not a single person has got it fixed and it's incredibly common. I'll be more pissed at them keeping my car for weeks only to have it not be fixed.
Same problem. Got my car weeks ago and noticed it within a couple drives. Brand New 2019 less than 200 miles. Does it under light throttle at low rpms. Goes away with more or less throttle. Wonderful.
Add me to the list. Brand new 2019 less than 200 miles. Rattles under light throttle at low rpms and goes away with either more throttle or less. Fantastic.
Overnight ? Not sure. Probably pretty expensive. $300 shipped? Overnight is expensive isn't it ? Based on my location though if I just send it normal priority mail on Monday it'll get there by Wed. I'll do that for $250 shipped. Up to you ! Either way I can't mail it out until Monday.
