How's your dealership experience been with ordering your 350?

Had a great experience with my dealer in SoDak. When tooling around yesterday looking at "regular" 2016's Mustangs on Cars.com most dealers were looking for MSRP. I had a thought that if a dealer was already selling/price quoting a 2016 for under MSRP they might not be looking for any/much ADM on a GT350.

Sure enough sent a couple of emails and got a response almost immediately. Locked up a white with blue stripes and tech package GT350 today for $1k over. DORA in hand.

PS: They only have one allocation so don't go trying to get mine. LOL

I'm on my phone and can't screenshot the email but yes he said they have it at the dealership right now.
Interesting. My dealership said they also already have their '15 350 but it went right to customer. It's a dealership near Detroit. Didn't know if it was truthful but....maybe.

My experience as a whole has been good and bad. Fast responses when they want to respond. Slow with others. I have placed an order with all communication done via email so everything is documented. Ford Performance has my order so I know it's all legit. Paid a very small ADM since there was a "buy-in" for the allocation. Called quite a few dealerships and the lowest ADM I could find was $10k anywhere in the Midwest.

My experience has been good so far.

Got a lead from a member of the forum. Did all communication via e-mail or over the phone. Agreed to an ADM I'm comfortable with and sent a cashier's check for the deposit. Dealer is responsive and often proactive to give updates. Latest (as of a month or so ago), is that the order is in the system but on "material hold". Hopefully everything works out. I'm trying not to call every day for updates as I don't want to be annoying, but the wait is certainly tough.

I've had several of those as well including offers of test drives. I ask for a pic and cc the GM and they all disappear.

Off topic but what does the car cover cost? Can't find a price.

Not true, if you email those dealers on cars.com...they will tell you the real price including some lofty ADMs

Wow good job. I called every place I could find in South Dakota and never was quoted anything under 10k. I guess I missed someone. Congrats. Mine was 10k. In Bismarck. They wanted 20 at the start got them down half and Aberdeen was the same. I just went local then.

Same situation in my home town dealer in SD, they had just sold their allocation just before I called.
