Has anyone had this wheel on for a while to give a long term review of how the wheel is wearing if at all and how good the grip still is? I just installed mine and boy does it look good

I go Alcantara for the feel. I much prefer the look of leather.

If Ford uses the same material as on the Boss 302 wheels it holds up a decent amount of time. I put one in my S197 as soon as you could buy one and sold the car last month. The nap had worn down quite a bit in 40k miles and probably would have been worn smooth in places in another 6 months.

Did anybody else find the steering wheel slippery at first? It almost feels like it has some type of cleaning product on it from factory. Also what are yal using to clean the wheel with?

I haven't needed to yet, but i plan to use mild soap and water with one wet and one dry cotton hand towel, and then a soft-bristled toothbrush to brush any flat parts i may have.
