  1. SP offroad longtubes, h-pipe, GT500 muffs too raspy

Haha. On a serious note, I'm about sick of the people that tell me "get used to it". No, I'm not going to spend all of this money on exhaust just to settle for some pipes that sound like someone dropped BBs into my muffler.
  2. SP offroad longtubes, h-pipe, GT500 muffs too raspy

Just installed my SP o/r longtubes last week, and the setup is now incredibly raspy through the entire RPM range instead of just mid-range under mild load with just the mufflers and midpipe. Any suggestions on how to fix this without installing cats? Most of the reason I wanted headers was to...
  3. how many blower guys did install yourself?

Doesn't Whipple have a CARB number? Go with that, mang
  4. 2.5" vs. 3" Exhaust

Not in any way that you'd notice while driving, however full 3" isn't really necessary unless you're running a high power FI setup
  5. Plasti dip exhaust tips black

Is this a thing? Doesn't seem like dip would hold up to the heat worth a crap.
  6. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

That's an FRPP decklid. The stock decklid would have holes outside of the howler badge.
  7. ARH Header Install Questions

Just call ARH - they'll get you set up with what you need.
  8. E85 A/F ratio Question

If you fill more than like 10% of the fuel tank capacity, the PCM has to relearn the ethanol content of the fuel so the tune runs a little rich for safety until it's adjusted. At least, that's the way I understand it. Put ALCH_LEARN as one of your PID's monitored on your gauge, and you'll see...
  9. Lund Racing Flex Fuel Tunes now available!!!

Really any tune will wake up the car so much...I wish I could go back to stock (I have a JLT so I can't) just to get used to a slow car again so I can drive the Lund tune for the first time again :headbang:

  12. Lund Racing Flex Fuel Tunes now available!!!

http://www.afdc.energy.gov/uploads/publication/ethanol_handbook.pdf Page 36. In April and part of May, NC uses volatility class 2, which is 74% minimum.
  13. Lund Racing Flex Fuel Tunes now available!!!

No, you're all probably getting grade 2 or grade 3 e85, which are "winter" fuels with additional gasoline to help with cold starts. I think grade 3 is 70% minimum ethanol percentage, grade 2 is 74%, and grade 1 (summer fuel) is 79% minimum.
  14. It's still slow - My 2016 GT

If I ever get a GoPro I will, but I don't want to sit in my driveway and rev my car, haha
  15. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Not at all. I don't think the stock grille really precludes anyone from having an unlucky rock or bug come through and hit the radiator, and many cars before mine have had empty grilles and been fine. If I kill my radiator with the grille delete, I guess I'll just have an excuse to put a PP...
  16. It's still slow - My 2016 GT

I'd like to welcome some GT500 mufflers to the party...
  17. 2011/2012 GT500 Axleback Installed *video*

Finally got mine installed. Here's a cold start idle vid, kinda a pain to get any revs or street driving in because all I have is my iPhone and I live in the middle of a city, so I don't want to bother the neighbors..
  18. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

The fine folks at PetrolWerks in Lindenhurst, NY fabbed in some GT500 mufflers for me to go with my MRT h-pipe resonator delete: I think it sounds great, and is very tame when the car is warmed up. I think it will pair really well with o/r headers.
  19. HP increase w/ bolt ons

Imagine how much power you could make if you dump all the cash for a full NA build into a blower or TTs.
