Because lund isn't willing to put every customer's car on the edge doesn't make them a bad tuner they tune more power atldder cars than anybody in the country no one's even close in respect to what they do

If you want aggressive offer to sign a waiver. And then when your engine goes you don't have anyone to blame but yourself. Lol. Simple

In the last year and some months than I've been a Lund customer I feel they have gone above and beyond. They have taken the time to answer all my questions even the really really stupid ones. Yes some answers were short and simple but it's understandable as they have a business to run. The few tune revisions I had done were sent back to me within hours if not the same hour. I recently had a issue with my n gauge and sent a text to the dealer that sold me the unit. Within 30 sec I had a response to my text to contact Lund. (Thanx Beefcake) I opened a ticket and within 5 min had a solution. Now all this happened on a Friday after hours!!!! Lund asked for me to send back the unit and they would send me a replacement. Monday morning my replacement arrives loaded with my tunes, including my stock file. I was not expecting that at all. To me that is excellent customer service across the board!!!!!! Not to mention my car hasn't missed a beat. That's just a given with Lund.

If anyone has unanswered questions I suggest to write them an email or open a ticket and let them know what you need. They will take the time and care of you. The Beefcake/Lund combo has worked very well for me
It's nice to know you have them in your corner when needed!!!

Not many peeps share the positive experiences, most share just the negative. Just wanted to share mine.
I should also mention that prior to choosing Lund I've spoken to friends on their experiences with their tuners. I saw unanswered calls, emails and texts.....for weeks after spending a boat load of cash and the emails that were answered appeared put together in a haste and the responses were not nice at all. I'm paying for a tune not smart a$$ remarks.

What about our car? What if I told you that Lund didn't tune it? Would that make the pump gear failure less appealing?

Grow up man.
I figured Lund didn't tune the car your car posted in here http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49047, mostly because the curve looked like my 6yr old drew it. You won't see a dyno curve looking like that unless it was done by a B tuner. Seems you've struggled in the past to find a good tuner to help you sell your kits, and didn't partner with Lund until recently.

Also, not sure if you remember our conversation from 2 weeks ago, but when I was shopping for a turbo kit and told you that Ken was my tuner you got excited, almost giddy, your voice changed and was upbeat, THE EXACT WORDS that came out of your mouth were...."Kens a great tuner, he DEFINITELY knows what he is doing."

Also, it's amazing how much you've posted in this thread, seeing that almost every one of your other 88 threads were strictly limited to dyno numbers or posting something for sale. 1 out of your 88 threads contained actual drag strip#'s, and that was your shop car from 2014. As a vendor, you've given us NOTHING definitive, and you should be limited to the Vendor Classifieds only.

Wow, I guess this thread went a little far. I am new to this with Mustangs to be honest. I read and read here. I kind of am on the aggressive side of things so decided to use Ken. Sick thing is, all of these vendors never really badmouth any of the tuners or knock them. I have bought from 3 different vendors in here, and they all know who is tuning my car, and had no bad words, only good things to say. I think it is a preference.

HOWEVER, to think that since Ken worked for Lund, and started off with their tunes, that he cannot be better in anyway makes no sense. I am NOT saying he is in any way. But let's be real here. Someone WILL be better. Lund will be better themselves. I have seen many people start things, and someone else just take it to the next level. So that part of the argument I am not agreeing with in any way. Again, I would say the same for each. If you want to be safer, you use Lund. Any tuner can be safer if they opt to do so. If you want to be more aggressive, you use Ken, and same thing, anyone can boost timing and be more aggressive. Seems like Lund really has down what they feel the limit for these motors are, and has a done a TON of tunes. In the end though, you can all argue about blown motors all you want. Yet you probably can count them all on one hand. Then to prove which were blown due to a tune is another story.

It depends on your car and setup. I think 5-6 revisions to get a car dialed in is amazing. Thing how many passes it takes a dyno tuner to dial it in with the car in their hands. Remember then a remote tuner is relying on an end user to give them the correct data for them to tweak. Send an email with your questions separate if you need to.
So I received this today :)
Added some more timing to the tune below this should be the last revision but I'd like to get one more log just to be sure everything is good to go! so send me one more from 1800-7300

Should I take the car to 7300 with stock opg? I'm excited lol

I saw 7800 a few times on stock opg and csg but I wouldn't recommend that high. I would say 7300 is fine just don't bang a limiter or get off and back on it hard

I don't think anybody is insinuating Ken is not a capable tuner by any means. Ken is willing to push the limits more than Lund is. IF the customer wants a more aggressive tune. I'd take all the "personal" shit out of it.. and know that he is a good tuner. The issue between himself and Lund is just that, an issue that was between those two. I would not have concerns going with Ken or Lund.

Actually, that's just a graph with smoothing turned down. lol

We've used a variety of tuners over the past 16 years. I used to tune my own until the PCM strategy became so convoluted that it required making it a full time job to keep up. I don't need a tuner to sell kits.. I'm not sure why you keep saying that. If I wanted, I could just use KB's off the shelf tune and make 650whp with all of these blower kits. We've worked with a few different folks and settled in with Lund over a year ago. I've used Lund previously in the past 10 years as well. Nothing new.. You act as if we have a "tuner problem". We don't.. You're making far more out of this than it needs to be.

I never said that Ken wasn't capable of tuning your car, or anyone else's car for that matter. I told you that Ken was a capable tuner.. lol

The issue that I have here is where people come off insinuating that Ken is better than Lund, or that people shouldn't use Lund because Ken is a better option. That's just not true. If you want to sit here and throw gas on a fire by acting childish in your responses, then that's your choice. But, yes, it pisses me off when I see that. Nothing wrong with sticking up for folks who have treated us right, and are kinda being singled out unjustly here.

What does me going to the drag strip have to do with anything? Again, if you knew our business, you would know that we are into 1/2 mile and standing mile racing for the most part. We've written numerous tech articles, shared info, and helped to build a solid platform for tuning and parts for this community. We also pay to sponsor this site so that folks like yourself can come here for information, product support, etc. Your perception of this company and our contributions here is a tad bit off. You should be limited to the lounge area, since you haven't said or done anything to contribute in this tech section.

If you like Ken.. that's fine man. No one said you had to choose otherwise. But, don't knock us for defending Lund when people indirectly attack them with comments that are far off-base.
