Thanks, ESS is not CARB certified but Pro Charger is. I don’t need to have a smog check until 2028. So might as well go with the ESS stage 2. What tuner did you use?

I also live in California and was thinking of an ESS . What are you going to do once smog check is due?

All you need is not to have a CEL on and not have your o2s turned off in tune. They don't do visual so it don't matter what your exhaust setup is as long as no CEL and o2s are on in your tune.

Thanks for your response, I’m looking for about mid 6’s at the wheel, not sure if I need to change out the oil pump gears.
at this power range. I won’t be drag racing
the car, just want more power.

I wasn’t suggesting you needed to do that I was just trying to justify how they are charging so much. If they want 2k just to slap a blower on I’d keep shopping around. High price doesn’t always transfer to high quality. I’ve been in the auto repair business since I was 17 im 42 now. Post pics of it when it’s done and good luck.

As long as your factory manifolds/cats are still installed, you shouldn't have any issues getting all of the readiness monitors to set. The issues really comes with long tube headers and high flow or no catalytic converters

I don’t know either, but once I saw that engines were prone to cracking in and around the hole, I figured I had nothing to lose by trying the MMR brace.

I was actually in the middle of a tranny build and clutch upgrade at the time and had a lot of downtime while I was waiting on tranny parts to be Cryo’d. During downtime, I always seem to start looking for other mods to do to the car and this was just one of those things.

I’ll have the car back on the lift next week and can take more pics to see how things are looking after running them for the last 14 months.

Hello Members,
New to this forum, been lurking for some time but now I’m in.
2020 GT 10r80, 355 gears, Steeda lowering springs, otherwise all stock and I live in the forsaken state of California. Would love some feedback on the ESS or ProCharger opinions and for now leave the motor stock. Any advice or recommendations greatly appreciated.
