HIGHLY doubt it. The GT350 is what the Boss 302 was. Don't think there's a place in the market for two extremely track focused Mustangs... And with Bullitt, Mach 1 and GT500 all strongly rumored for priduction in the next few years, where would a Boss 302 fit in?
Coolness ...Gimme my heritage sounding Highland Green slightly trimmed with chrome finish in the front grille area with no slats and no pony logo with 10 more hp than the GT'S V8 that has a engine turned instrument panel surround for 40K and no markup so I can be cool like Steve McQueen even though only a few people will understand me. Whew! I think I got it all :-)
It will ne Dark Highland Green, like the rest...I hope they aren't planning on using Guard for the Green
If I won the lottery, that and a DB5 would be my dream stable with the S550 of courseCoolness ...
The 01 is closer to the original color, but 1968 would have been lacquered paint with no clearcoat, so modern paint will never look quite the same. Both were a little off from the real 60s Highland Green though right? I'm hoping they make it closer to the real color this time.
My hope is that's just something in the design drawings, but not something that makes production. A Bullitt doesn't need more shiny bits.My guess would be that it will be the same chrome trim that is used on the premium pack export models:
