I'm wondering if my 19x9 and 19x10 Forgestar F14's I have on my 2014 GT will work for this car.
It may not be ideal, but I would be interested to see how they fit, the Mustang team changed everything on the car but kept a few things common enough and they may sneak in there.

This pic leads me to believe the Mustang can use a much lower offset or combination of wider wheel and slightly lower offset. Those wheels aren't anywhere close to flush.

If i had to guess what a flush but still safe (no stretched tires or camber) i would say a 9.5 +30 front and 10.5 +40 rear. Maybe even lower and this is just my opinion. Not saying for sure they will fit.
I'm thinking 10-11" square setups will fit no problem. I'm hoping anyway, I want to fit the largest contact patch with same offset on all 4. #SteamRoller

In 20's I personally wouldn't go past 9.5 or 10 for width. Our wheels we have coming in are 20x9.5 and 20x10.5 with offsets that will have them sitting flush according to the wheel company but we'll be testing them out.

Don't buy wheels before you get the car, otherwise you will have no idea if the wheels you choose fit properly. Offsets are only one piece of the puzzle, you also need brake caliper clearance and hub bore diameter, as well as inboard strut and control arm clearance.
Grimace, I know you weighed your car recently, any chance you weighed the PP wheel/tire combo?

Also, anyone post the hub bore yet?

You might have me confused with someone else, I haven't weighed my car recently. Last time it was on a scale was at MIR in 2011, said it was 3,795 with me in it(150lbs at the time), 1/2 tank of fuel, camera gear, and overnight luggage for two people.

Hub bore should be 70.5mm like the S197 going by shops fitting some of the S197 wheels on their S550 models.

haha  sorry, I did think you were someone else. Now I can't remember who got the silver GT/PP and weighed it on the scales.

Does anyone know what the offsets are, primarily for the following wheels:
Performance Package:
front, 19 x 9.0-in. 255/40R,
rear, 19 x 9.5-in. 275/40R Y summer
+45mm and +52mm respectively, if the wiki is correct. The real question is what is the actual limiting factor for 19" wheels to fit over the Brembo brakes?

From what I was told(I think Cortex) the '15's PP Brakes are offest in more than the S197. This moves the brakes further from the wheel center (caliper specifically) which allows much simpler wheel fitment. The biggest fitment issue is in the front, the back appears to have mountains of room. Offsets on the front are most critical.

It has to do with the wheel design. Unfortunately brake clearance can't be confirmed based on a numerical stat alone. Typically has diameter grows though you tend to have better wheel clearance.

From the PRI write up I just posted elsewhere.

One thing I can confirm from sticking my head under the S550 rear fenders is there appears to be a large amount of extra room inside the rear fenders for more tire width. This S550 at PRI had some optional 20" wheels (apparently the 20x9" wheel that you can opt on most models, over the 18x8" and 19x9" wheels that come with some packages?) mounted with 265/35/20 tires.

20131212_132051-M.jpg

The wheels were pushed out to the "bleeding edge" of the fender lips, and the tire to fender gaps were very small - neither of which will likely make it to the production model. It is rare for an OEM car, especially a Mustang, to have a "stance" and wheel fitment that looks this good. But fear not - there was at least 3 or 4 inches of extra inboard wheel room out back, meaning... our coveted 18x12" rear wheel might once again fit the back of a Mustang, just like we managed to do on the S197 (using every trick in the book!).
I think on an American Muscle YouTube video, they said 315's will fit in the back. Think was on their lowering kit video...

I'm not much of a tire expert. Would 215/65R-17 Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 tires fit?

I've been trying to find out how to get the 50th Anniversary wheels ( 19" Premium Luster Nickel-Painted Aluminum)? I asked the dealer about trying to order them separately, but no deal. I've checked the available 2015 parts that are available but no deal. I'm thinking they will be an option next year. If anyone has any avenues or ideas to pursue, please feel free to post it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
