If you get a CEL clearing won’t help for passing inspections. You will need a full drive cycle before inspection.
Give us a shout with any questions you have.
We run into this almost daily with our customers. We are in Cumberland county which requires full inspections. You will get a check engine light with catted headers, tuners shouldn’t be messing with any emissions codes in the software. You can grab some vibrant 19019 bungs. Those have worked...
You ever get worried when you're dropping off your expensive forged wheels to get mounted and balanced? Or having a hard time finding a shop that will mount and balance your carbon fiber wheels? Ever wonder if your wheel and tire package is truly balanced? We went all out on our new set of...
When we do custom FI packages with other tuners we recommend doing the back and forth with the tuner. Much better to give the customer the finished product especially after spending so much money.
I’d still run a BAP with the dw400 as we’ve seen fuel pressure fall up top with the DW. Or, just run a BAP with the stock pump. I have quite a few customers in the high 600’s low 7’s with just a BAP going on a few years with no issues.
Could be a number of things, if it’s sat for awhile it could just be bad gas. Drain the fuel, if the fuel system is powered directly to the battery and not in trigger you can just power the car to drain. Throw some new 93 and a can of VP octanium. I’d also run a datalog to see if you have a...
A little late but we had a customer making over 800 on a fairly conservative tune with a G3 setup. I can’t remember the pulley setup or boost as it was a few months ago. We just did the fuel system for the customer.
If you want to run 93 slap a 3.75 pulley, 3.625 is a bit much for that octane. If it’s on E right now and you plan to stay on E, slap a 3.5 and you should need a slightly bigger belt.
I’ve installed literally every blower available, multiple times and have tuned a few of them. I’d recommend 1. Whipple, 2. VMP, 3. ProCharger, 4. Vortech/ Paxton. But that’s just a suggestion and a preference.
I personally don’t like the build up of boost like a centri, for a street car I...
I had a 2017 GT350 that I was not kind to. Nothing like a car screaming at 8500 rpm’s in 1st and 2nd gear and it’s just wanting more. It is a drivers car, you will feel the car, it’s not numb, and it’s exciting. Even being 2017 and the engine blows from oil starvation it can still get replaced...
My GT350 had basically the entire Steeda catalogue. Only thing left stock was the dampers and sway bars.
Sway bars arent completely necessary, they help some but shocks and struts are going to help more. With stock style tires on regular streets your tires are going to give way before the...
New GT500 cam covers use every bolt instead of skipping a couple. We had an issue with a GT350R and couldnt figure it out for the life of us. There is a TSP out for it from Ford, all they do is drill holes and bolt up but honestly, I'd just get the GT500 cam covers.
