4k in mods on the EB and you're driving a ticking time bomb with no warranty. Better have a spare block laying around. I'd rather spend a little more and have something reliable.
I was seriously considering an EB but this whole smoke issue has really got me second guessing. I would be so pissed to have a brand new car with a cloud of smoke behind it. I should probably just spring for the GT.
This! I don't race and I'm not concerned with getting THE most power from a tune. I'd be looking for a safe, reliable bump in performance. I will likely keep this car for 10+ years.
I just priced this up on Tirerack. Would still need to source a jack and lugwrench somewhere. If I could get into a full sized spare for around $300, I'd do it just for peace of mind.
