Anyone else having this issue? My seat feel like it is sliding side to side on the rails when I take hard turns. It is very unsettling to say the least.
I haven't taken it in to the dealer, I was hoping somebody else may be able to narrow down the cause.
Any chance of adding auto blip on downshift for the manual transmissions via tuning? This exists on some other platforms, but I haven't seen it discussed on this board.
Thanks Anthony. It's always awesome when the vendors post data. Can we see charge temp differences at stock boost levels with just the budget vs. Garrett cores once you have it?
Lot's of people in here that come across as a particular shade of green.
For all we know, the kid is a straight A student, involved in extra curriculars, and spends his weekends at a soup kitchen. If I had a kid like that and the means, a V6 pony car would be more than ample reward, with the...
Dude... just...
The variability is far more likely to be on the tons of different dynos than an industrial manufacturing line dealing with .001" tolerances.
If you really want to measure power, you should be using one of the test metrics that takes driver error out of it. Top gear pulls...
I'm giving up the Miata in part due to the small size. I'm a big boy and spend too much time in traffic to continue with the NC. It is a great car as far as dynamics go, but I am looking for something larger, more comfortable, and a bit quieter for the daily commute.
Would you mind extrapolating on this a bit? The stock ECU doesn't have tables for boost or air fuel? I understand it might not be spitting out a number that says 13:1, or 20 psi, and translating the data tables may be part of your secret sauce, but I am fascinated if the computer is literally...
Fair enough, myself and most of my close friends are a-holes. The quality of your posts belies the user name. In this thread it just seems there is an agenda. I'll freely admit I am not familiar with Livernois, and I'm not thrilled with an 87 octane baseline to prove results. Their real...
Ford spends a fair amount of money honoring their warranty. They also understand a strong second hand value is good for the company. They do a pretty conservative on what maintenance is required when to both minimize their warranty costs and maximize second hand value.
You can feel pretty...
Come on, man. You have proven in most threads you have some idea of what you are talking about, but it might be easier to convince other people of that if you weren't so abrasive.
If you really want to play the impartial consumer who is swayed by real world data, why not start asking the...
Funny enough, my first car did just that. Sure it was a VW Westie, but one of the seats rotated completely around.
I like power recline because it is more variable than manual adjustments. I might be persnickety, but it seems my ideal back position is always between clicks.
Factory over-spray, road grime and tar are going to pretty well guarantee that you should be clay barring from the beginning.
Use the fingertip or plastic bag method to confirm, but chances are good it won't feel like glass.
Wash (clean bucket and mitt) with standard detergent, and clay with...
Has anyone fully detailed the suspension component, geometry, and bracing differences on the PP vs. stock? A few posts have alluded to more changes than might be expected from Ford's description.
The changes will vary on the EB and GT models. Please specify if your information is specific...
You say a family heirloom. If there is no intention to sell it, there is no reason not to mod it. Anything that enhances the enjoyment of the car will enhance its value for your intents.
The PP mods enhance braking and handling. Nothing will be different for an I/H/E/tune on a standard car...
Personally, if a large number of my posts were deleted from a thread, I might start taking a less abrasive tact.
The much maligned import tuners tend to provide free datalogging and tune tweaks as part of the off the shelf tune package.
I can't say any of the tuners for the EB have come out...
Many cars build boost even at moderate throttle levels. Boost is more dependent on load than throttle position. The two are correlated but are not linear. Take a drive on a stock, low spooling turbo of most manufacturers in the mountains, and you will consistently be in positive pressure...
