This year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas brought out dozens of S550 Mustangs with all manner of aftermarket performance and cosmetic modifications — now it’s time to show you what the European market has in store.
The Essen Motor Show which takes place in western Germany is Europe’s largest annual tuning show and displays motorcycles, cars and tuning parts from hundreds of companies based in Europe and abroad. This year, the S550 Mustang made a healthy showing despite the heavy focus on European brands; at least eight 2015-2016 Mustangs were on display and M6G member Ericc B of the Netherlands was in attendance to give us the scoop.
While Ford Germany itself had two stock 2015 Mustang GTs, a Race Red GT convertible sported a stylish OEM wind deflector imprinted with the pony logo.
More tricked out varieties showed up by way of Koni, Wagner Tuning, Fondmetal Wheels, Diewe Wheels, NAP Exhaust Systems and MR Performance — brands which are largely unfamiliar to the domestic U.S. crowd, but may soon be recognized for some bold and beautiful parts and designs.
