Now I'm really torn... Keep my custom ported box, go to a dual front fire, or a single offset rear fire. I really like the idea of the hidden space behind the offset setup....

Jesus...a little overkill on the amp lol.
I had it running 4 10 inch w3s but now I have a set in my lightning and my mustang lol. Yes it's over kill but it's set pretty low.

Did you take the back seats outs? And where did you mount the amp?

I really like it, it sounds real crisp and clean. I had a sub enclosure in my focus st that was faced towards the rear and it sounded horrible so I turned it around. Seemed like it sounded 10 times better. That's the reason I went with this style. And I still have plenty room in the trunk.

Ummm, I looked at this fast and thought I saw something in the shadow....... Congrats would have been in order lol

No the seats were just folded down when I took that picture. I mounted the jl amp where the spare tire goes and the alpine amp in between the box and body. Since it was a tiny amp it fit perfectly.

Ah, that makes sense. I had a Slash 600/1 pushing two 10w3's in my last car and it slammed pretty good and the gain wasn't even up past 75%.

I am extremely pleased with the fitment of this box! I was concerned that my all weather mat, and my Floor spacer for my Airride would affect the fitment, but I was wrong.

This thing fits exactly how I wanted. I can still easily access my spare tire well, fit my all weather mat in by just rolling the access mat under the middle of the mat, and I'm still left with enough space to fit all my junk I drive around with in the back.

Not to mention the ease of access I'll have to the amp and the wiring by mounting it on the box behind the passenger seat. Couldn't be happier with the overall fitment and quality.

Theoretically can't you face the front facing box in the rear to hear the sound difference? If it's custom molded it shouldn't make a different right?

How do you like the front firing subs? Does it do a good job? I read that the front firing subs won't have as much low end bass but won't have as much rattle as a rear facing sub

Received mine today. Will post pics if anyone wants to see them. But it looks like the single, only it's a double rear facing.

We must have purchased our sub enclosures around the same time. I ordered the dual forward facing box for 2 10's with the red accent. Mustangs at the shop currently getting my new Skar Audio VVX-10v3's and RP-1500.1D amp installed. I'll post pictures after I pick it up.
