What thickness of birch do you use? I've only ever used MDF as it can stand up to serious SPL

Luv my Zen 12" side box in my 11. Perfect fit, and lets me still use my trunk with the fold down seats for longer items. Hoping Zen will do a side box as well. HINT!

Went with the single 10, rear facing, offset. Only boxed in for half with space to mount an amp on the back side by the seats. Overall looks good. Will see how it sits in the trunk.

Not bad, plenty of mounting space for an amp and other electronics.

I really like it, it sounds real crisp and clean. I had a sub enclosure in my focus st that was faced towards the rear and it sounded horrible so I turned it around. Seemed like it sounded 10 times better. That's the reason I went with this style. And I still have plenty room in the trunk.

I'm using a jl hd1200/1 and I have a set of focal front and rear components with a alpine 4.150 running them.
