Looking to lease GT Premium by using my grandfather's Z-Plan.
Where can I get the Z-Plan price? Does the Z-plan pin expire? What is the time frame because i would like to order my GT. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.

You should be able to get Z plan price from any Ford dealer. the pin should be good for 1 year.

I used an A plan, same as Z, but it was only good for 60 days. Ford ran a deal that would allow and employee (A plan) or retiree (Z plan) to give one away to a non direct family member. That program ended Monday.

Not sure if the regular A/Z works the same or not.

Timd38,

A dealer should show them to you if you ask and they don't think you're just fooling around.

But when your grandfather registers you, you will get a link to a site that has more info AND sets a cookie or something so that when you go to the regular Ford site Build section, it will show the A/Z plan prices so you can see what any options or combo of options will cost.

You won't know until you can order one. But its at least 99.9999% YES. I don't think they exclude anything that isn't a limited production vehicle. And even that never made any sense to me since dealers don't ever have to sell a car on an A or Z plan. I guess its to keep employees and family from getting upset and not understanding why no dealer will sell them a GT350 on an A-plan. Don't offer it and nobody gets confused.

What is the build of the car you are looking for? I'll see if I can get you the Z Plan price on an equivalent car.

I want to get 2017 Mustang GT in July 2016.

GT Premium
Race Red
Auto
3.55 Gear
20 inch wheels black
Premium Trim with Color
Enhanced security
Over the top stripe Silver

I think I can put the order in in 4/15 but production will not start until June. Just want to time this properly not to lose the Z-Plan Pin. As some one suggested that it good for one year.

Thanks for help.

TheBoss,
When your Grandfather requested a Z plan pin from headquarters they issued him a pin number that could expire in 60 days. Not to worry if it expires, your Grandfather can request another one. It only counts against his allotment when processed through a Ford dealer:thumbsup:

"I guess its to keep employees and family from getting upset and not understanding why no dealer will sell them a GT350 on an A-plan."

A Ford employee knows that they can't use A plan on limited production vehicles, with the noted exception of the "2008 Mustang Bullitt"

Exactly my point. The reason WE know is because Ford says so. No need to waste ours and a dealer's time trying. But the exclusion is purely academic. No dealer would sell someone a GT350 or other excluded vehicle at A plan, even if they were "allowed to".
