0.68 € per liter ? :eyebulge:

Man, I've to move to Canada :D
V8 would be my first purchase (after a house!) with fuel at that price, the EB wouldn't even get a look-in... :hail:

Actually, the GT has outsold the EB in Europe....but some countries have silly taxes, like Holland, Belgium, iItaly and Norway to name few, where the GT would be a killer tax wise.
Yeah? That's interesting to hear that the V8 version has out-sold the EB but I can imagine the taxes would limit the kind of person who buys such a car.

Thanks god for http://mpg.webix.co.uk/
all these 10l/100km, 7l/100km, etc make no sense to us brits
UK and US need to just make the full plunge to metric and stop mixing the two! I've been living overseas for 5 years and don't even think in imperial anymore.

Anybody experiencing hood lifting at higher speeds? I know it came one once in another section so I'm curious. I really cannot stop obsessing over this car...

Just emptied my 6th tank, got 11,7 km\l (8,55 l\100 km)

Reading this thread I just realized that the lowest value reported are not based on a full tank but on specified parts (e.g. 50 km on a highway, 30 km in the city..) so my values on a full tank are not so bad!

Yet I'm still driving like an elderly... for this tank only 1 or 2 times I reached 3k rpm :ninja:

Curently at around 3300k averaging 9.6l/100km .. I did notice a drop after switching to EURO98, but it may just be the engine settling in.

On 98+ from Octa I'm averaging 9.6l/100km, 3300KM as well, do notice an increase up to 12.5l/100km when using the 98+ from Texaco and Total. Haven't tried Shell and some other brands so far.

Just did 1000km's today, Prague to Rotterdam, doing about 190 where it was possible, otherwise within a speed limit and averaged 9.8 l/100km. I was expecting much worse. With 8000km's on the clock looks like it's breaking in good.
