When people ask if it's the v8, and the smile when they hear the engine start.
A guy a few houses down has a Harley with seemingly no pipes and starts it every morning about 10 minutes before I start my car. I consider myself the quieter snooze alarm. This also means I get zero hate because when his bike is running, you can't hear my car, or anything for that matter. Next door neighbor wants me to put something louder on my car, I told him he knows where to have it delivered. When you get that guilty feeling at 5am hoping your neighbors sleep hard enough they didn’t here you start the car in the garage but deep inside you know they are cussing you at least 5 days a week because when they see you on the weekend they look away so they don’t have to wave. True story
PS wait till I get my new exhaust on my Harley that’ll teach em.
OMG. I thought I was the only one. I love driving by reflective shop windows!!"showboating" thru town using storefront windows for your own show ride.
Taking twice as long so other drivers toot for you to move on............
I do that on my tri bike to check out my riding position ...OMG. I thought I was the only one. I love driving by reflective shop windows!!
Some tractor trailers have an extra mirror on their front fenders and if it happens to be adjusted at the right angle, I can see myself reflected in it as I pass them. Just remember, OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR, so don't get too close trying to check yourself out.OMG. I thought I was the only one. I love driving by reflective shop windows!!
100% agree, however, at work, the normal stalls are A) filled up with soldiers who will park on your hood as long as they make PT and B) pine trees...EF PINE TREES lol. So parallel is the safest option and usually it's not an issue, only when visitors stop by and wreck the system. And of course we look out for each other whenever possible.I'm from Jersey, and I live by the three P's:
I don't pump gas, parallel park, or take public transportation.
