  1. Die hard Manual guys get in here!

Yeah, I grew up all over, including Europe, so learned manual as that was the only option. I was surprised to find this mentality at home in the US among some car enthusiasts. The fact that automatics are so prevalent in the US is actually because of how rich we are, road infrastructure as a...
  2. BMS reset question

The camera started working again, weird. I did check the wires and they are indeed a bit taut when the trunk is open, they should have given it a slight bit more slack.
  3. BMS reset question

So, ever since the battery change, the backup camera no longer works. It says camera not available. Any ideas what's going on and what I can do?
  4. BMS reset question

Yes, it worked perfectly, thanks. I was pleasantly surprised by how simple the process and setting up Forscan was.
  5. BMS reset question

Thanks, I will check it out.
  6. BMS reset question

I got the license and the adapter, would you mind sharing what the process is for the reset. I read up on the tutorials online and have a basic understanding of the overall process to make changes, but couldn't find anything specific to the bms reset.
  7. BMS reset question

Yeah, fully charging it before install. Guess I need to look into Forscan, was hoping to not have to go that route as I'm not familiar with it. Is there an adapter you recommend?
  8. BMS reset question

My oem battery went out and decided to upgrade to the xs d4700. I'm fully charging it now as recommended and will swap it in tomorrow. I understand there is a bms reset procedure that needs to be done, but I also saw that if you leave the car alone for 8 hours it will do it on it's own. Is this...
  9. Manual VS Auto

I moved a lot as a kid, lived in a lot of different countries. Manual is pretty much the default everywhere else and that is mainly due to road conditions and the higher costs of automatics. Only in the US do you have losers who like to strut about something as basic as driving a stick shift. I...
  10. Manual: No warm up

Modern cars haven't needed any kind of warm up for some time now since carburetors are no longer in use.
  11. "GT350" facelift is finally done on our 2017 GT

Personally I can't stand stuff like this. I mean it's one thing to mod your car and make it unique, but it's just tacky to me when you make it look specifically like the gt350, especially with the cobra, shelby lettering etc. Having said that, this is just my opinion, nothing more. What people...
  12. 2020 Carroll Shelby Signature Mustang

I don't know man, I just can't get excited about these. For the price, it's just not worth it. Considering this is a GT platform they have modded, I just can't help but think how I could build something far superior for the same money if I were to just do it on my own.
  13. Like StangMode, I'm not bailing - But

I'm really looking forward to the c8 zo6. That will be a beast.
  14. Heated/cooled seats vs Recaro

I hate that the recaros are all manual here. And even when they go electric Ford half asses it. Plus I'd like full leather recaros.
  15. You know you drive a S550 Mustang when...

When people ask if it's the v8, and the smile when they hear the engine start.
  16. I’m sure it added 40 hp!

You guessed right. I mean I do own a classic mustang, but would never own something with a quarter stick in it.
  17. I’m sure it added 40 hp!

Isn't this kinda odd on an automatic?
  18. Has anyone with Sync3 Nav successfully updated their maps?

So time has been flying for me lately. I just checked and my update was purchased and done in September too, not a few weeks ago as I thought. Hopefully someone else that has done it recently can chime in to confirm if 118 is indeed the latest one.
  19. Has anyone with Sync3 Nav successfully updated their maps?

Is the latest map version 118? I had purchased it few weeks ago and have it installed but got a flyer from Ford the other day saying there is a new update.
