Found one today that didn’t make it and appeared to have fallen from a tree. It was all rubbery and I thought it was fake until I turned it over with my shoe.

Unfortunately for me it was puffy and apparently the pressure of my foot caused it to “release” some decomposing body goop out the old a-hole. Wish I could forget that smell.

But yeah, they can’t handle more than a day or two of cold. It was like Godzilla unleashed the next few warm days. All of them were soaking up as much sun as possible.
