I'm new to the forums so I had a question, I know there are a lot of interchangeable parts for a 2015 and 2014 v6 stangs so do the x-pipes work on my 2015 v6 from a 2014, I don't like the fact that we get no love for x-pipes or aftermarkets parts in general so I just wanted to know that if it would install the same or would it be different...:ford:

Flowmaster actually makes an xpipe for our car. I have one and will install later on this week or next week. I already have flowmaster outlaw axelbacks on

yea ive seen that flowmasters makes one but I didn't like the price lol it was a tad to high for my taste, cause I have an x-pipe from a 2014 and I wondered if it would be a straight fit for my new 2015

That idk. But I do know that the suitcase style mid section that we have gives our cars a unique tone for our exhaust note. But with that gone the exhaust would sound like the s197 v6. Like one of my friends has a roush exhaust on his 2014 and another friend has roush on his 2015 and they sound different. But once that factory resonator is gone they will sound the same. I believe the flowmaster xpipe is 250. I got mine for 150. Did you check to see if there is a exhaust shop that can fabricate you one? If it's a res delete xpipe you won't need a tune and still pass emmissions

We have a X and an H pipe available on our website. I can get you 15% off the Lethal Performance Brand and 5% off the Flowmaster brand.

Most exhaust shops will probably make you a new one and weld it in for $150-200

100 for Magnaflow X Pipe - Including Labor

Had an H pipe made first, and had it removed after 24 hours. Did not like how it sounded with my muffler delete, and a bit on the loud raspy side.

The X pipe I feel made the car quieter at idle, but when you step on, you can most definitely hear it lol. sounds pretty nice.

Originally with my muffler delete, I experienced some drone between 2-3K RPM I would say - which didn't bother me, but with the H pipe, the drone definitely increased.... I would say until youre in the higher RPM range the drone starts to go away, but comes back when you're cruising about 80-90mph on the highway. Keep in mind that I also have 3.73s so might be different for you cruising if you're stock

Other than that, like i said it was only on for 24 hours and during that time I didn't try and gun it too much because it was too much attention to my car lol

Best route would to go a shop and get a custom one made. I had one fabricated and installed for 150 bucks.
