Hey guys! I'm a medical student who bought a Genesis Coupe for 2 years while I studied in a downtown area to have a little more room and have the 8 speed auto with paddles for a bit more ease in traffic and in case someone had to drive my car. She's super babied - all highway miles for medical school and babied. :headbang:

Now that I'm done with the first 2 years of medical school, I want to mix it up. I'm looking for a 2015+ Mustang GT in manual trim. I'm more than willing to add 4k+ cash. The Genesis forums think 26ish range would be fair.

Located in Indianapolis, IN

My car for trade:

-2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8L v6 Track edition (top package) with the 8 speed auto and paddle shifters
-22k miles
-gets nearly 28 MPG

-mods: intake, exhaust, black wrapped roof and tinted windows + wheels all professionally installed.

-still under warranty until 60k miles

Thanks mang! Let me know if you'll want to trade lol
Haha if I did I would then be looking to sell it for a GT350! I've actually got a few mods planned in the near future and am contemplating just keeping it and buying forced induction.

Get the genesis as your DD. That was the purpose of mine - reliable + 60k warranty and 29 mpg. She cruises like a boss. Then you have a DD and a GT350. win win

What ever you do, do not tell them how much you owe ( if there's a lein holder). Second before going in for the trade leave at home or tell them you don't have the registration on hand. This will prevent them from low balling you and not contacting lein holder on registration.

Op, the Geneisis is one of the cars I test drove back in June 2015 when I was looking for a new car. I actually went in looking for the 2.0t but was told they didn't make them anymore so it was 3.8 only, It was really nice and the power felt comparable to the 370z but I really wanted turbo and the mustang looked much better IMHO and I got it cheaper. The Hyundai dealer called me back a few weeks later to offer me a better deal but by then I had my order already in.

Only reason I'm telling you this is that I wouldn't trade my Mustang for a Genesis at a rate that would make financial sense to you, and I highly doubt many people on here would either, especially a GT owner. I think your best bet is a private sale or dealer trade in.

Well I appreciate it. My plan is to add cash on top and being a 2013, ultimate edition/track edition, and the 3.8, the car is worth a lot more versus some of the other genesis. They'll sell in the 20's range. I'll certainly add cash for a trade for a base GT. I think it's fair.
