wrench for M-6731-FL820 ford performance oil filter

Hello,

Does anyone know what wrench could work with M-6731-FL820 ford performance oil filter? It looks completely round but ford performance technician told me that there are aftermarket wrenches.

it would be kind of hard to measure 18lb torque with it, but I guess it is better than none . thanks,

I'm all about torquing to spec but in my over 30 years of wrenching, screwing on a new filter one hand tight has never been a problem. Please don't think Ford techs or oil change shops torque your oil filter on.

That wrench is for removing only.

I agree and did hand screw it in when I change it a few days ago, but I would prefer torquing if possible.

I've never needed anything more than a hand in the last 20 years on anything that was adequately maintained, but I've got good grippers for the removal side.

If you need more grip, try a strap wrench to remove.

does "74mm, 15 Flutes" fit? I didn't see any ridges on the filter for flutes to fit, and it looked larger then 74mm.

On another forum someone recommended https://smile.amazon.com/Tools-2029-Drive-Fltr-Wrench/dp/B000CO9NSY, I think it is the only option in order to set correct torque.
