Really now? I used an aluminum wrap a few years ago by them and it was pure crap.. That said maybe they changed their vinyl since then or I got ripped off then... Haha
The brushed vinyl is on the thinner side surprisingly, I would have thought it was very thick but my installer said it is thinner and hard to work with. They said if a shop knew how to stretch, and when not to stretch though it would come out great and last a long time.

Maybe Brian@Vossen can chime in since his is done in brushed finished.

i did this a few months back. i went with red. i pulled it off because two days later it started to peel on all the curves (around the vents and what not)
thats the hardest part. try and get the vinyl to stick. it stuck for two days, got really hot, then peeled and bubbled. didnt want to use vinyl glue on my interior. see OP has the same problem with it not sticking to the vents and gauges.

3M. only stuff i use and trust. ive done vinyl work in the past and wrapping interior trim with a lot of curves is the hardest. im gonna give it another shot soon on my car and maybe use some vinyl glue and see if i cant make it stick.

That's cool man I bought the stuff the OP did now I am wishing I went with 3m. I agree from doing all my lights and my roof wrap curves are hard and the vents and lines are a hard on the dash. So I take it this stuff can take a lot of heat....

depending on what you get. obviously with more heat it will melt or get weak. so test it out. but when you heat it, it gets pretty stretchy and you can kind of conform it to your will. if you get a solid color you wont get a lot of distortion, but if you get a brushed or CF looking vinyl, the more you heat and stretch, the more distortion you get in the vinyl.

Sooo...to the op, how hard is it to remove the panel itself?? Is it just pulling and thats it?
Also, my paint guy says hell paint it to match my deep impact blue for like 30$, just cause he thinks itll look amazing. Anyone else thinks thia will look great?

I used Avery's Brushed Titanium wrap and it has been perfect. They have probably revised the films so I would highly recommend either Avery or 3M if you decide to go with a Brushed finish. The texture and when the light hits it just right, it looks insane! :headbang:

Biggest problem I have found with avery and 3m is that the size and pattern go the wrong way... For instance the size you can get is 5ftx3ft.. Perfect right? Except for the fact that the brushed pattern is along the 3ft dimension.... :frusty:

Looks great! I was thinking about wrapping mine in gloss black but finger prints might drive me nuts
