How should a WOT log be run for an A10? I've found some info on MTs but nothing specific for the A10.

Also, when providing a tuner logs does the drive mode matter?

Put it in drive and then paddle shift to whatever gear they recommend and it’ll stay in that gear for the pull.

This.
Paddle to 5th, wot pull from 2k-7500. 7th is the 1:1 gear however the speeds you'll reach in that gear become prohibitive depending where you are logging. If on a dyno then it's a non issue.

Thanks, they didn't give me a gear to wot from. Wouldn't 5th even hit ludicrous speed?

It's not slow! But more manageable than 7th.

I tested out 5th from 2,000 RPM to get a feel for it but I couldn't manage much more than 50% throttle given conditions and it was still a kick in the pants.

Would a partial pull from 7th be of any use to the tuners? I figure that would put the engine in bit more of a lug at the start.

The wot pull is needed. Only time i was asked for a partial was for logging LTH and proper cooling etc. That was a 3rd gear pull 1500-5k but at gradual throttle.

I dont think the gear matters too much as long as you have traction, try one in 3rd from like 2500 to redline. I put the shifter in S then put it in 3rd and paddle shift it around 7800 but you could also do it in drive and let it shift its self I think.

Yes it would, you can use 2nd or 3rd gear for a WOT log... 3rd gear puts you low 90's at 7k+ RPM... 5th gear is insane unless you have a place to do it safely.

I did a 5th pull from 2,000 and had to let off at 6000 RPM. I had a safe place but it would have been too much.
