I have had my WOT box in for a few months now and have my no lift shift time set to 250ms. Anyone running quicker/slower shift times?

Never understood the reason for a WOT box for shifting.. guess cause I use to watch
Jenkins, Sox, Landy, Dondero, Nicholson all the time. Took them about a 1/4 second to shift with archaic transmissions. As Sox once said "you can only shift so fast. it is more about shifting at the right time"

To each his own. It keeps my shifts nice and consistent, and the car doesn’t buck or jolt in between shifts as it would if I were shifting normally. I’ve read a few forums on people who were able to shift as fast as 160ms with the WOT box.

It cuts timing and ignition so you don’t destroy your clutch like power shifting does…..

When I installed mine I got it down to 198ms through backroad testing and it’s been there eversince

What do you think the stock tune does ? Alters timing & shuts off the fuel.
I think he meant spark. The Wot box cuts spark. It still sends fuel but it doesn't ignite it. WOT box is way different than the stock tune. WOT box shifting is a lot safer on the clutch compared to power shifting,

Ok looks like I need an education here so please indulge me. How's cutting spark with a WOT box safer than shutting off the fuel ? I mean your not FI nor Nitrous equip. Onless you like the pop pop out of a fuel laden exhaust.

The stock tune does not let you WOT shift without power shifting, that would hurt the clutch. I don't know if it is safer or not but I've been using the WOT box for a while and everything is healthy. Same for lots of WOT box users
