Is anyone running this Shifter in their Stangs? If so, Pros? Cons? Looking for a decent upgrade...

What am I looking at? I see two automatics and a manual for the mustang.

if you want a short throw shifter, nothings better than the mgw or Barton hybrid 3.
The difference between the two is reverse lockout, pull up oem vs push down reverse

Barton is stock pull up lockout
Mgw is push down

Looking for Shifter Conversion Kit for automatic S550 Mustang. They can make any color and any engraving on the ball... so it’s inspiring...

There was a post not too long ago, maybe last week? The guy tried to replace his stock shifter with the WM short one. He ended up breaking the brake interlock on the stock shifter. I don't think he has posted a final outcome yet.
They do look interesting though.

If you do a search you will find many many post about this already. All I can say is they are a good quality product. Beyond that, pros and cons are really just if you personally like the way it looks. I have one of the early ones and really like it.

One of my most favorite mods... WMG short shifter along with manual bezel and boot. No issues installing and with the short version you need to trim 1” off the inner post.

That’s a good quality piece.
I would suggest the original version. It sits lower then oem and doesn’t require any mods at all. Plug and play setup and also you can add an engraving for like 20 backs with anything you want on the top or sides.
If you wanted to have a different design they can repaint original shifter for like 35 usd so really nice options but get ready to have a lot of hate from manuals accusing you in fake manual setup.

That is why I wanna opt for WMG more than other brands. They make a sick custom engravings for a really nice price. Quality is awesome so far... Much appreciated your detailed advice!

Love mine. Short universal one. I think install is easier on the regular short one because I don’t think you need to cut the shaft, but I didn’t want a metal shift ball. If I were to do it again, I’d probably get the standard one.

Swapped in a manual boot also to complete the clean look and confuse valets.

I ordered the manual boot/surround and 2x WM shift knobs as I couldnt make up my mind. Chrome shaft with chrome ball and a chrome shaft with black ball with GT etched in the top, silver filled. Turned up last week so yet to install. Also received my GT350 steering wheel, which I am debating whether to retrim slightly fatter, and possibly lose the alcantara in favor of perforated leather? or just keep it as it is?

I ordered a Ruby Red shift knob from them and received it today. It looks and feels great. Worth every penny.
Pictures in my journal, here.
They were a pleasure to deal with.
