Hey everyone, I’m dropping in my new fuel pumps and stuck on what is happening with the fuel level sensor wiring. The kit was supposed to be plug and play but maybe I’m just stupid…

do I need to cut and crimp these wires together as the connectors obviously don’t match up?

Cut off the wires before the connector and just connect them together, they are just ground and doesn't matter which side goes on.

Use butt connectors to do so. Plug and play can be a loose term, you still need to know some basics on wiring and power/ground ect when installing the fuel system, my fore level 2 was definitely not plugged and play. Had to cut all the hoses and make all connections and run power and ground to trunk for pumps.

Thanks for the quick replies guys! I can see now the blue and brown wires go to the ground posts on the hat so that all lines up. Appreciate it!!

Apparently it is plug and play, after you find the baggie of goodies hiding in the box and just need to make up a connector! Thanks again for the quick help!
