Help Hot wiring fuel pump

Has anyone tried to run a hot wire directly to the fuel pump to pump gas out of car when changing fuels? Also is there a way to turn the fuel pump off to bleed the pressure off the fuel system before disconnecting it?

Has anyone tried to run a hot wire directly to the fuel pump to pump gas out of car when changing fuels? Also is there a way to turn the fuel pump off to bleed the pressure off the fuel system before disconnecting it?

I disconnected the fuel pump and ran the car until engine shut off and started it two times. I got a car battery and hooked it directly into the fuel pump connector. Or get a adaptor and make it really easy.
