So, how many here turn on their windshield wipers with the hood up?
After i change my oil i start the engine with the hood up to check for leaks. Well i found one. Window washer fluid was leaking from under the sound deadening and dripping on the battery. I would not have found it it wasn't for a bird crapping on the windshield while i was under the car. With the hood down the washer jets functioned fine and nothing looked amiss. Pulled the sound deaden and found that the "T" connection on the passenger side was cracked.
Dealer fixed it under warranty
