I don't like it either, but it works as designed.

My 2016 Convertible had this just show up Monday. The passenger window was up then would drop as if the door was open, then close repeatedly while driving and sometimes parked. I found this site and tried the Reinitialize. I opened the driver window, held the button for 15 seconds more, then raised it closed and 15 seconds more. I repeated this for the Passenger window this morning. The thing stayed put and the auto window works again on both sides. I'm guessing this is meant to be a quick recalibration for Convertible Windows. Just not everyone knows to do it. Thanks for the great info. I'm joining now.Bringing back a dead thread. Any 2017 vert owners that can confirm that they added it to the 2017 convertibles? I'm about to dig into the as-built data mods and think that this ought to be something that us 2015/16 owners can turn on without new hardware.
For those interested, check out this thread if you haven't seen it already. Has some real cool things we can change via as-built data, like stopping the stupid "fog light off with turn signal!"
