Long story short. My trunk lid was originally was a different color. I put new spoiler on and it doesn't cover some of the old color like the old spoiler did. Wap thinking of pulling spoiler off being I haven't 3m taped it down yet and use aresol touch up paint. Just not sure how complicated it is and etc. Honestly with wing on I could probably cover the areas with brush on touch up paint. Suggestions or experience

Photo would be nice
Color is a biggie
You can't blend rattle can new paint to old paint.
Photo would be nice
Touch up paint applied with brush may be best option

Hope this helps. Pictures actually make it far more noticeable. Also looks same on right side of spoiler where the base is

Found a local guy that is in our mustang group that paints cars for a living and said he would respray trunk for 100 plus paint. That is another option

Ok so I'm set on the respray but my guy won't be able to do till weather is warmer. What touch-up paint do you all suggest for now just to make it not so much of a eye sore? Was thinking of duplicolor or the one on CJ pony parts. Open to suggestions

Best move. Especially at that price. No way to hack that with good results. Small paint brush is still plan B

Just leave it alone. Will make the respray that much easier (and better).

By the way, I presume your guy who does this for a living is doing this on the side. How much warmer does it need to get?

70s and it's 30 and 40 degrees right now till probably late spring. He was fine with me using touch-up just for temporary solution

I use duplicolor. You can use paint pen as well
Easier to control where Paint goes.if you use spray just spray some in the cap and dip small painters artist. brush in.ibe had good results but you 'll see the touch up whenever you look at it.jd wait

You could get a small piece of color matched vinyl and just throw it on there. Would be easier for your painter later on and might look better since that’s a larger area for touch up.
