Hi folks. So I have the opportunity to grab a set of 19x8.5 wheels wrapped with new 245/45/19 tires for cheap. The set came from a 2014 c/s. Tire rack says they won't fit in the front, they will rub. If that's the case then why doesn't the 235/50/18's rub? Am I missing something? Thanks for looking.

You should be fine the diameter difference is +.1” not enough to run.

Tire rack doesn't know squat regarding wheel fitment unless the wheels in question have the same exact specs as stock. If there's any deviation from that, they will put out a generic statement that they won't fit so they don't have any issues. They don't have a full detailed picture of what people on the forums are able to fit.

Guys put 305s up front with the right wheel, so no reason why a 245 won't fit unless it's a completely different offset than stock.
