I want to take my "front" OEM pp wheels that are 9" wide and widen them to 11" so I can fit a 315 tire on the rear. This is a 680whp street car that will see occasional trips to the track and strip. I know of reputable companies doing this so I do not need that info. I want to take my rear wheels that are 9.5" wide and move them to the front using a 5mm hub-centric spacer with stock 275 p-zero tires. Thanks for any first hand knowledge you may have!
Let me know of any issues with this setup...
1. Are there any safety issues or other cons I need to consider such as integrity of the wheel etc...
2. Would the offset and/or backspacing change when doing this. If so I need to provide correct info to the company widening the wheel. I want the wheels to tuck just inside the wheel-wells. I will be lowered by 1" with no other suspension modifications.
3. Any offset or backspacing issues when widening the front wheels and using them for the rear.
