I'm on the fence about selection of tires. I'm between a 305/35/19 and a 325/30/19.
My question is for preformance pack drivers. How much does the 325/30/19 overall size of 26.68 affect the gearing and driving vs the stock 275/40/19 overall size of 27.66?

The car will appear to be accelerating faster but in reality, about the same cuz your speedo is not accurate anymore.

Roughly you're about a full inch shorter on the 325's. You'll be doing 57.8 mph with your speedo reading 60 and an effective rear gear of 3.87.

Thank you. So basically in the 1/4 mile I'll be higher in the rpm and may need to shift into 5th

If you have 3.73's, then a shorter tire on stock power will force you to drive though in 4th bouncing on the rev limiter, as that last second shift into 5th could actually slow you down.

That is what I needed to know. I have a gt350 intake so I'll be revving high anyway but didn't want to make a huge gearing change.
