Just ordered 20x10 fronts and 20x11 rears for my stock ‘17 GT. I was thinking I’d do 275/35R20 fronts and 305/35R20 rears. Will this work? Will the diameter of the rears be too much? Do I need the front and rear diameters to be closer?

A lot of people have used that set up with success. Personally, that’s too tall of a rear tire for me. It gives the illusion of the rear of the car being lower than the front because of the reduced gap due to the taller tire. People have used small spring spacers on the rear to correct that though

Will the ride go to complete crap if I use a 305/30 rear? I’ve used a 275/35R20 on the rear before, so according to the calculator, that’s about the same sidewall size.

It shouldn’t. I had 255/35’s on my factory foundry wheels and the ride was still nice. I was on stock suspension then though

You can run different heights front and rear without issue however like said above you will see a difference in fender gap. PP has a 27 inch front and 27.9 inch rear stock and you can see the front has noticeably more gap. When I squared up my PP with 285 35 20's the fender gap is now even f/r with no change to the springs.

My 2017 GT PP lowered on BMR minimal lowering springs (basically 1/2" all around) and I am running 305/35/20 and 285/35/20. No issues at all. Ride is no different than stock.

Hi,

May I ask what is the wheels make, model, offsets? And are they 10/11?

Regards

Fahad
