I initially wanted Ingot Silver with Black Leather for My Eco-Boost Coupe, but then some Spectacular Pic's of Triple Yellow started to show up, Especially the Triple Yellow Eco-Boost with the Dark Gray Performance Pack Wheels. I've always had a soft spot for Yellow Mustangs since I learned to drive in my Mom's Yellow 73 Mach 1. But now that more Pic's of the Redline Interior have surfaced and the Gray Eco-Boost Performance Pack Wheels are not going to be available (I Hate Black Wheels!), I'm really leaning back toward Ingot Silver with Redline. I think it's going to look Amazing!

Yah don't. Seriously. Triple yellow is a 100 times better color especially on this car. You get a boring silver one and itll blend in so much youll wonder after a while why you got it. Trust me. Whereas Triple Yellow will stand out for a lifetime.

But I Do Love Silver, it is Cooler in the Florida Sun than most colors and So Easy to keep Clean. My Current Accord Coupe is Silver with Black Leather, My 89 Thunderbird Supercoupe was Titanium Silver with Burgundy Cloth interior, and My 83 Avanti II was Sterling Silver with Red Leather...

Yellow is also a good enough color to repel heat like Silver. I agree that Ingot shows off the lines well, probably the best out of all the colors, but it's also kind of a mundane color that just doesn't stand out. In addition, since you're stuck with black wheels, it's one of the better colors for them. Really, IMO, there are only a few colors that look good with the PP wheels. TY, CO, Oxford and Ingot. The rest just don't have enough contrast to look good.

Come on, you KNOW you want TY!

All of those varying model silver cars look boring to me, and the new triple yellow picture you posted next looks hot. You know which way I'm voting. You only live once. Don't be saddled with a boring car. Go out in a blaze of glory in a flashy Mustang screetching the tires :-)

No matter which color I choose I'm Not Keeping those Damn Black Wheels if I go for the Performance Pack at all. I Really Want the 50th Anniversary Pkg Wheels on that Triple Yellow car. I also Love the Interior that comes with the Anniversary Pkg, but Hate the Coral Grill and Faux Gas Cap. There's just no way around it, I'm going to have to change something to get the Exact Car I Want, whether it's Wheels (Performance Pack) or Grill and Faux Gas Cap (Anniversary Pkg)

I was going to wait to see some colors in person, but Ingot is top of my list right now. Really shows off how beautiful the car looks. I can't say that about many other silver cars though...

Silver is so common I sometimes don't even notice cool cars because I look right past silver.

Other colors are more exciting but whatever floats your boat :)

I agree, silver hides body lines and blands any vehicle. I have a mint condition sterling silver metallic 1991 Honda ST1100 that I wish was black or white. I almost went with Guard but chose Magnetic. Either of those has a little different appearance in different lights and conditions.

Rather than hiding the lines, silver actually enhances them, as you get a better contrast between the light and dark areas, caused by the body surfacing.......in my opinion, at least.

This photo, posted by Topnotch, helped me appreciate Ingot even more. This is more like the traditional dull, grey weather we get here in the UK, and yet Ingot still makes the S550 look sharp.

It's also the BEST colour for hiding dust n dirt (as my daily driver BMW 330i will attest!) :)

Here's an interesting take and, if Ford could, I'd love to see a very (and I mean VERY) slightly darker silver.

This image of Ingot was slightly manipulated.......and I love the result!

Silver enhances the body lines and so do the metallic gray's....very nice colors. I prefer the grays because silver is sooo common now. Ruby Red is my next choice.
