Why spoiler delete?

Anyone have a side by side rear shot of a spoiler delete vs having a spoiler?

Emailed my dealer to see if they can change my order to have a spoiler delete. Question, do they need to cancel the order to make a change or do they just edit the order already placed?

I was told by a former Team Mustang member that when cars are styled spoilers are not part of the design--marketing is who decides if a car needs a spoiler or wing. After years of washing my wifes Mustang the wing is just a water trap when drying the car.

The real question is why is the spoiler optional on a GT, but not allowed on a GT PP. And standard on the GT350.& GT350R (no spoiler delete on the option list IIRC).

You made an error in your comparing the car color option to the spoiler delete option The spoiler delete may have no right answer but black is in fact better than red ;)

Just curious why others delete their spoiler? I think they look more like a non GT with it off.

If you really want opinions, I think the car looks better without one. Also, I think most people would delete it off to save weight since weight is the only important thing when it comes to performance.

All joking aside, the only spoiler I would ever want is the GT350R one.

And the GT 350R Spoiler is developed to be functional in wind tunnel tests. IMO function vs looks.

Pretty sure the GT350's are manual only as well. So that isn't inconsistent like the spoiler.

The GT350R spoiler (or more correcly, wing) is the uglyest of all, and the only one I would go out of my way to delete.
