Why No Transmission Fluid Temp Gauge?

This always bothered me, ok we don't have a digital speedo but why not a transmission fluid temp gauge for a gtpp or manual gt? During cold starts and cold weathers it would help us to know if we really reached the safe trans fluid temperatures for high rpm shifting.

It's a manual. It's always safe to shift at high rpm.

Never seen a temp gage on a manual transmission. Only on automatics.

Wish it did.. Ford racing offers a manual trans cooler scoop!

We do have a trans temp gauge. Well...sort of. its in the Gauges screen. it reads out the digital temperature but when you press the right button to go to the sub-screen the virtual gauge is simply a red area and a green area. The ironic thing is, the oil temp readout simply says low or normal but trans oil has numbers.

It's definitely available on the auto equipped Premium EcoBoost w/ Performance Pack (I was able to view it on my new 2016).
