No question I love my GT. However, if I had money, and a larger garage, I would probably have a Challenger, too. More so to get more people in, and not have to drive the Explorer (no, the Challenger cannot fit in the garage space where the Explorer is).
The exhaust will always start in normal mode.
My suggestion is to remove the MyMode setting, i.e. set it to some other random setting. Once done, restart the car, and test the MyMode, confirm if it stuck. Then change MyMode to the settings you actually want.
Something tells me I am in the same boat. I am about 20 minutes from the office. Driving to work the engine barely gets hot.
